Nuno Tavares
Tierney’s potential departure could open a door back at Arsenal for Tavares. He has impressed at times for Marseille this season, scoring six times in Ligue 1.
However, he is a very different left-back from Zinchenko. He may not be the player Arteta can see a future for at the club.
Pablo Mari
Mari is all but confirmed to be leaving Arsenal. He joined Serie A side Monza last summer with an obligation to buy if they avoid relegation.
Monza currently sit 13th in the table, 15 points off the drop. Barring a catastrophic end to the season, Arsenal will receive around £6m for the transfer.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Maitland-Niles extended his contract at Arsenal until 2024 when he joined Southampton on loan. However, that was probably to prevent him from leaving for free this year.
He wants to play in midfield and Arteta is not willing to play him in that position. It is probably time he found a new permanent home.
