Kim Kardashian was left visibly stunned as Arsenal were dumped out of the Europa League knockout stages 5-3 on penalties by Sporting on Thursday night. The 42-year-old media personality made a surprise appearance at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night with her seven-year-old son Saint West, who supports the Gunners.

Yet it wasn’t to be for the youngster as he watched his side crash out of Europe on spot-kicks following a 1-1 draw on the night.

Granit Xhaka had given Arsenal the lead in the first half before former Wolves attacker Pedro Goncalves lobbed Aaron Ramsdale from 45-yards.

The Gunners would later fluff their lines on penalties when Gabriel Martinelli missed from 12-yards to send Arsenal packing.

Kardashian’s immediate reaction was snapped by Getty Images as the celebrity turned to her son in horror with her mouth wide open.

Kim K had previously uploaded a picture of her son Saint in an Arsenal strip back in late January, indicating that he was a big fan of the Gunners.

But Kardashian went one step further on Thursday night, bringing her son to the Emirates Stadium for a taste of the action in person.

An image of the match day programme was uploaded to her Instagram prior to the match with bottles of Prime, the famous drink created by KSI and Logan Paul.

Kardashian had been filming a documentary in London before deciding to make the appearance at the Emirates Stadium.

By the looks of things, she was with a small clan of friends having uploaded a picture of four young children – including her son – engrossed in the action.

The former wife of Kanye West was also spotted filming Bukayo Saka’s penalty as the Englishman struck the back of the net for the Gunners.

The footage was posted on her Instagram story as son Saint chanted Saka’s name before celebrating wildly.

But it wasn’t to be for the youngster, who unfortunately saw his side lose the match and tie when Martinelli’s spot-kick was saved by Adan.

Kardashian posted an image of Saint with his hands on his head after Arsenal received their sickening fate as their wait for a European trophy rumbles on.

Arsenal have a long list of celebrity supporters which includes the likes of Jay-Z, Jamie Foxx, Matt Damon and Andrew Garfield.

It does not appear that Saint West has followed in the footsteps of his rapper father Kanye when choosing to support the Gunners.

The 45-year-old musician was previously snapped in a Manchester United tracksuit top back in 2018, hinting that they were the Premier League team that he followed.
