Resident Evil fans are counting down to the launch of the Resi 4 Remake on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. Capcom’s stunning Resident Evil 4 Remake has a March 24 release date and a midnight launch time in all regions. If you’ve pre-ordered the game ahead of launch, then you can actually pre-load the game right now on your platform of choice. This means you can start playing the moment the clock strikes midnight.

Weighing in at almost 60GB on PS5 and around 30GB on PS4, PlayStation pre-order customers can pre-load the game either by visiting the PS storefront and choosing to download, or by visiting the library section on the PS4 or PS5 console.

It’s a similar process on Xbox and PC, where pre-loads can be accessed from your library, or directly from the respective store pages.

If you haven’t pre-ordered the game and aren’t quite sure if the Resident Evil 4 Remake is for you, then you can always try the pre-release demo for free.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake Chainsaw demo features a specially tuned slice of the opening section of the game.

The terrifying demo introduces fans to the story, and sees Leon battle a huge group of locals in the village square. As the name of the demo suggests, you’ll even come face to face with one of the more iconic enemy types of the final game.

Another way to build hype to the release of the remake is to check out the original Resident Evil 4, which is currently available at a discounted price on multiple storefronts. The  is arguably the best way to enjoy the original, although not everybody will be able to handle it!
